Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shades Specialist to join our team. The Shades Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting our sales team, managing shade specifications, overseeing orders, and ensuring successful installation and programming of shades for our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work on luxury, innovative, and exciting projects while contributing to our mission of delivering extraordinary experiences to our clients.

• Responsibilities:

– Sales Support:

•   – Provide expert guidance and support to the sales team on shade products and specifications.
•   – Assist in identifying and recommending the most suitable shades based on client requirements and preferences.
•   – Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations for clients.

– Specification and Measurement:

•   – Accurately measure windows and gather specifications for shade installation.
•   – Ensure that shade specifications align with client preferences and technical requirements.

– Order Management:

•   – Place orders for shades, ensuring all specifications are included and accurate.
•   – Track order status and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
•   – Confirm receipt of shades and verify their readiness for installation.

– Installation and Programming:

•   – Assist the project management team and technicians in installing shades according to specifications.
•   – Provide guidance on wiring and programming shades, ensuring seamless integration with other smart home systems.
•   – Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or programming.

– Training and Mentorship:

•   – Share expertise and knowledge with team members, providing training and mentorship as needed.
•   – Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team, encouraging others to expand their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• • • – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
    • – Proven experience working with shades or similar automation products.
    • – Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate technical specifications effectively.
    • – Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in measuring and specifying shades.
    • – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, clients, and technicians.
    • – Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • – Desire and ability to teach and mentor others, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
