Audio Video Systems Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AV Systems Engineer to join our team at Lelch Audio Video. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV Systems Design and/or implementation. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop customized solutions for residential and commercial projects, including luxury homes, multi-dwelling units (MDUs), and office buildings. As an AV Systems Engineer at Lelch, you will have the chance to work on exciting projects while embodying our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities:
  • – Systems Design and Programming:
  •   – Design and program audiovisual control systems using platforms such as Crestron, Control4, Lutron, and other industry-leading technologies.
  •   – Create documentation to enable field teams to deliver complete systems efficiently and accurately.
  • – Collaboration and Client Engagement:
  •   – Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise during the design phase.
  •   – Provide recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades based on the latest developments in AV technology and industry standards.
  • – Technical Expertise and Innovation:
  •   – Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AV technology and industry standards, making recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades.
  •   – Ensure high-quality work by paying attention to detail and demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional audiovisual solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • – Strong technical skills in AV Systems, Networking, and Control.
  • – Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • – Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • – Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • – Familiarity with AV schematics, signal flow, and current technologies in the audiovisual industry.
  • – Experience working with industry-standard programming platforms such as Crestron, Control4, Lutron, etc.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • – Installation, Programming, and/or Design of AV Systems, including but not limited to Audio and Video Distribution, Theater Design, Control Systems, Surveillance, and Access Control.

 

Preferred Credentials:

  • – Relevant certifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), CEDIA Certified Professional (ESC/ESC-D), AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS/CTS-D), Lutron Certified Installer, etc., are highly preferred.
